Keywords are recurring abilities on Mistbound Cards. This page covers general keywords; class-specific mechanics are listed on each class page. Entries marked (unconfirmed) are not yet fully documented.

General keywords

Keyword Effect
Entrance A triggered ability that activates when a unit is put onto the battlefield.
Adjacent Refers to units in the squares directly next to a selected unit.
Swift The unit can move and attack the turn it is summoned.
±X/±X Increases or decreases a unit's attack and health by X.
Strike An ally unit is played onto the same tile as an enemy unit and the two fight. If the ally survives and kills the enemy, it takes the eliminated enemy's tile. (Outcome when both survive is unconfirmed.)
Eliminate Destroy a selected or specified type of unit and send it to the graveyard.
Banish An affected unit that would go to the graveyard is instead removed from the game entirely. Can also be tied to spells.
Teleport Move to another space even if units are blocking the path to the destination.
Knock Back Move one or more units one tile away from a specified unit.
Pull Forward Bring a targeted unit to the same column/row as another selected unit.
Immobilize Prevents a unit from moving for one turn. (Unconfirmed.)
Stun Prevents a unit from moving and attacking for one turn. (Unconfirmed.)
Resist Some form of damage negation. (Unconfirmed.)
Reinforce Increases health in some way. (Unconfirmed.)
Last Gasp A triggered effect when the unit is eliminated. (Unconfirmed.)
Dash Forced movement of a unit. (Unconfirmed.)
